Nail Polish as an Economic Indicator?
Here is a really interesting article from this Sunday's New York Times magazine on how different consumables are potential indicators of economic growth.  Enjoy!

Does Netflix really care?

Plenty has been said about Netflix’s screw up in changing their pricing plans, the subscriber outrage and exodus, and then going back to the original “one size fits all” approach that made them so popular.

But it you look at their recent partnerships with Amazon Fire and multiple media companies to stream unique content, it doesn’t seem like they care. Their focus seems... to be on Netflix apps and joint ventures. So while they reverted back, they don’t seem to be doing anything to kiss up to the customers that made them as huge as they are in the first place. I mean just saying “we’re sorry, you can go back to the plan you had” doesn’t seem to be nearly enough in terms of customer loyalty.

What do you think?
